What to feed the dog?

I have tried feeding the dog everything in my food inventory, he hates everything. He doesn't like fruits, vegetables or fish, which I understand. I haven't come across any meat that is not fish yet, so maybe I got the dog too soon. Anyone know what to feed him?

I believe they only eat meat and bones? I think you get those later in game but if I'm wrong someone can correct me since I haven't gotten the dog yet :,) Im just assuming its dropped by enemies outside the vale.

You get meat from popping a floating pig! Give them a gassy apple and aim, you should get three pork chops

You can also collect eggs from chickens if you shoot at them with the slingshot!

This is the reason I joined the forums lol. Ever since I bought the dog my game has turned into a never ending quest to keep the thing sated. I just wanted to put in my 2 cents here as I have been following the project for a long time and am very excited about the game and love almost everything else so far! I'm not a crazy vegetarian by any means, but this dog is constantly hungry and I am constantly killing pigs in order to feed it. And the pigs are named and are super cute. I feel terribly killing so many of these pigs! The dog seems to be hungry 2-3 times a day. When I've done the gassy apple thing to kill the pig, I have gotten 1-3 pork pieces at a time. This would mean that I need to kill 1-3 pigs a day to keep this dog fed. There are only pig markets twice a month. I've resorted to killing neighbors pigs in order to get my dog fed. There isn't enough time in the day to scope out what I'm going to feed my dog. This is silly. My whole game now revolves around feeding it. I would think a dog would eat fish in real life, no? Or I would think that a pig should at least give 10 pork pieces? Or maybe a recipe where I can make dog food out of the pork to make it last longer? Is anyone else where I'm at who has found a solution? At this point I'm going to scrap my game and not adopt the dog.

Isn't there a pork tree in the Fae realm. I think you can plant the seeds.
