🌱 Kynseed Branches out to GOG.com

We're thrilled to announce that Kynseed is spreading its branches to GOG.com on November 8th! Head on over to Kynseed's GOG page and hit those Wishlist and Notify buttons to show your support and get alerted when the game becomes available.

Kynseed will be part of GOG's Games in Development program, which is a collection of...well, games in development! GOG's take on early access is to focus on quality over quantity with a small hand-picked selection of community-driven titles. Feel free to hop on over to their Games in Development FAQ for more info.

Having Kynseed available on this platform is something we've seen many of you ask about and it's something the team's been secretly crossing our fingers on ever since we began development - we've always been big fans of the sort of culture that GOG fosters. All that to say, we're most humbled and flattered to have been approached by the good folks at GOG. We know that our game and our community will feel right at home over there.

For any of you who are unfamiliar with it, GOG is perhaps best known as a consumer centric DRM-free game platform of curated titles and we're tickled pink as pigs to be a part of it. Like all Games in Development titles, we'll be getting our very own GOG forum where you can expect us to be just as active there as anywhere else you find us online, complete with an excess of puns and sarcasm. We look forward to growing roots in the GOG community and we hope to see a few of you there!

    Love,
    PixelCount

This is great news! I was hoping Kynseed would end up available on GOG as well, as I prefer owning the games I pay for, which makes Steam a little problematic for me. I do have some games on Steam (and there are some upcoming games I'm interested in that probably won't be available to me anywhere else), but my GOG library is much bigger for a reason.

Kynseed on my favourite, DRM-free platform! Yay!

Can/Do we have the option to get a GOG key instead of Steam key as a backer? Asking for the same reasons as Rikopertto mentioned.

I also would like this. I had to stop using Steam because of issues and use GOG as my gaming platform. If my keys comes via steam, I sadly won't be playing it.

So I guess the silence is a hard NO on getting a GOG key instead of a Steam one.

I just got it in my Email.

It asks you to choose if you want a GOG key or a Steam Key.

I picked a GOG key so I am going to go play it now!
