What Was your first ever console/gaming system?

Hey everyone, Hopefully your day/night is going well. As gamers, we can all remember the memory of getting our first console and being introduced to the wonderful world of gaming. What was the console that captured your herat, mind and soul and got you into gaming?

We had things like megadrive and nintendo, but the day I got the Nintendo 64 was the best! We used to play Diddy Kong Racing for hours, just flying around the free bits playing tag.

For the PC, Command and Conquer was my first experience followed by Shogun Total War - my first experience of Shogun was via a demo disc bought from Paddington Train Station when I was about 11 I think (first PC Gamer magazine too).

Ahhh nostalgic to think about the days where patches were included on pc gamer discs.

I watched my dad play video games for as long as I can remember. My most vivid memory is when he played Final Fantasy VII and I was building a bad ass, amazing blanket fort on the bed. He summoned shiva and I thought that was the coolest shit ever.

My favorite thing to play in my childhood, and I'm pretty sure the first game and console that I ever had, was Harvest Moon 64 for the Nintendo 64.

    All good times~

I remember my first console was an NES my godfather gave me and my sister, that used to belonged to his sons. I remember he gave it to us because he had bought them a Genesis. I remember it came with 50 games so we were set for that whole year lol

The first system I had was a PC and I can remember playing Rollercoaster Tycoon on it, albeit, it wasn't the first game I ever played, that was Sonic CD. My first portable was a PSP with FF7 Crisis Core.

I had a Binatone Pong System in about 1977/78...first proper system was the Commodore 64 in 1983, and the first game I played at home was Wizard of Wor (cartridge).
Had Jupiter Lander, Tooth Invaders and Pinball Spectacular bundled too.
First tape game I got was Booty....first one I saved up for was Gribblys day Out (£7.95) and first tenner game I got was Ghostbusters.
    Magical times.

My brother had a Nintendo and my Grandma had a Genesis so those were technically my first systems, but I blame the Dreamcast for my nerdy beginnings.

My parents got a spectrum at an early age that my dad played a bunch (especially an early football manager game) and I got to play too. The loading screens and screeching sounds taught a lot of patience back then The games were interesting and very diverse (tho i probably mostly got addicted to the arcadey ones). I think the hobbyist scene in those earlier days outside of console allowed for so much variety as anyone could have an idea and run with it! My favourite games that I remember were R-type (rarely got past level 4 which required turning the tape over and loading which was 50/50 as to whether it worked!), Uridium, Robin Hood (by codemasters!) and Oh Mummy! (was one of a few bundled games with the system https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bONV0osw44).
