I like the thoughts behind #5. I think the reason that games like Stardew and HM don't use the kind of system is because it's more of a life sim that also has a story that progresses and the romance...

I think it's working for now and agree about it getting too clustered.

This makes sense to me.

Games with a 'speed up' option implies that it has parts you wouldn't enjoy and need to speed through. Sims have the rabbit holes (jobs, shopping etc). I think paying to lose years would work better....

The only thing I ever NEED to give my characters is a glasses option. I feel very strongly about this lol. The rest I'll take as you please. :)

I think 12 minute days would be better. I know it adds more (168/season-672/year- 12ish hr/year, but it gives us a little more leeway to make decisions and enjoy stuff.

I have to say those days sound way short to me. But I love to bask in surroundings and see the small things. If I'm rushing to finish a day it'll feel too grindy.

I think this is one of those really subjective topics that there will never be any right way to do it.

For instance, for me personally, all I wanna do is customise my living space. If stuff on...

I have been on some well maintained Discord servers that worked very well. And sometimes live chat is better. Especially when dealing with bugs/errors.
