Blue Bar at bottom of screen

I was just buying items from the market on day 3 of the game. From there I went up into the town and to a house to the left that had two books in it. upon reading the first book "Woof Justice" I had a blue bar come up on the bottom of the screen:

It stayed for a couple seconds then zipped off to the right. I was able to keep playing as normal so I went to read the other book "The Fae Realms" and saw this:

It went away after a few seconds again and didn't interrupt playing the game. It came up again a minute later when i was just walking:

I finished playing the day (I don't remember if it kept popping up) and stopped playing for now. Just a heads up that this is happening :)
